Hopefully this will be better than the disappointing book. The trailer looks promising since it seems like things actually happen instead of having Katniss sitting around in an underground hideout for the first half. Although I still think creatively it was a dumb move to split Mockingjay into two parts(financially though, I get why they did it).

As for where Part I will leave off, I've always assumed it'll be when

Yeah, at this point you might as well wait until you've seen them. Collins is actually a pretty good writer which, I have to admit, I was surprised by. I mean no one is going to confuse the trilogy with James Joyce or Faulkner or whatnot. But they're well written, and fun reads.

The trailer didn't really do anything for me. I'm not saying it looks bad, rather my interest wasn't peaked.

Which is strange because I absolutely adore Catching Fire.

I guess it's because what was shown is exactly what I imagined the final chapter would be. It just looks all so... inevitable.

I know, I hate to have to wait for things especially when it comes to movies that I really want to see! But I know at the end of the day, it will be well worth it. This looks like it will way 10 times better than Catching Fire and I loved that movie!

Good trailer, with enough to entice non-book fans, while teasing enough where book fans are like "OMG epic, where is this in the book?!" Wish we could have had more Johanna, but whatever. Maybe she'll show up in the next trailer.

But seriously, I'm excited. The book was meh, but the movie looks like it took the best bits of the book and cut the "fat".

IF I had to guess, Johanna is probably a mulligan to get people into theatres just for her.

Regarding the split, I kinda hope;

[Show spoiler] They split it when Katniss arrives in District 2, so they can have a calm ending before the sh*tstorm of Part 2. And then they can also have a big shock shooting at the start of the second film.

Just my opinion, though.

Johanna was definitely the scene stealer in CF.

Though I wonder if they are tweaking her Capitol arc to be more like Peeta's, at least that's what I'm guessing based on the previous teases.

I wonder if we're going to get more flashbacks or throwbacks to the other films. I thought it was cool how Marvel showed up in CF, and it would be cool if Clove or Cato show up in a similar manner in MJ during the District 2 segments.

I thought I read somewhere that this was the final trailer. So I guess we'll have to wait and see if that's true or not.

Well there is always the possibility that they could tweak it so

[Show spoiler]instead of Johanna's rescue being so unnoticed, she's really in the Capitol with Peeta doing the broadcasts and they get her out with Peeta and Annie.

That could increase her screen time substantially and I like Jena Malone quite a bit so I'd be on board with that.
