vgchartz is "extrapolated" nonsense.

I have no idea how it became such a popular site. It should never be used for anything. vgchartz just makes guesses, some are reasonable and other times they end up a million off -- they are always going to be wrong (it's just by how much)...

Their PSP numbers are off by 1.5 million as well.

Those numbers Sony mentioned are also going to be what they sold to retailers, not customers.
