I've got high hopes for this one. If there's one thing this generation of games has been completely void from it's a good horror game. After the bad reviews of Alone in the Dark this is the next great hope for the genre before the mac daddy that is RE5 hits.

You know I didn't think to much of Dead Space until the other day when gametrailers posted the new gameplay videos. It looked pretty cool. Kinda like a cross between Dark Sector, Bioshock, and Resident Evil tossed in with a little originality. I'll definitely check it out.

be sure to check out the IGN level walkthrough. I've been behind Dead Space since Game Informers cover story on it. Do we have a date for Siren? And I'm talking about United States release.

Some pics and scenes/interviews are featured in the July '08 issue of Qore for those of us that want to see more. I got a laugh out of the whole experiment where they had Veronica Belmont sitting through some of SH: Homecoming's gameplay and seeing how much she could endure.

Speaking of Origins, one of the guys on the team revealed that Travis from Origins will be seen in Homecoming, as well as some other characters from the previous Silent Hills. He didn't elaborate as that would spoil aspects of the game, but it will be interesting to see how it turns out.

You've copied the shortened version of that first link so it's broken.

edit: I downloaded from the megaupload link and that must be footage from an older build of the game because fortunately it doesn't look nearly that bad now. Try these links:
