If we're doing a female Ghostbusters reboot, we need to have one of those edgy alternative chicks play Kylie Griffin. They can have all the other gals they want but at least throw in the most popular EU Ghostbuster character into the mix just for fun.

Surprisingly this news doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. I mean if the original cast isn't in this, then I really wouldn't want other male actors to try and take their place. So an all female cast would be refreshing since they wouldn't really be competing with the original cast as if it were male actors.

Now if the lineup was something like McCarthy, Wiig, Stone & Lawrence, then that would be pretty cool. Although I rather see someone like Rose Byrne in the lineup rather than McCarthy.

No Melissa McCarthy. The last movie she did was bad enough when I had to see tv spots of it. The one where she works in fast food.

Besides, after her talking about her hot guy fetish, I think it would ruin Ghostbusters 3. She mentioned in her Starz interview that if she ever went to Hell, she would keep the hottest guys chained to scolding rocks so her upper rocks have something to play with.

Melissa McCarthy -- get out of Ghostbusters 3.

I have little doubt that McCarthy will be in it. I bet there will be a couple more "funny girls" (like Wiig), and a "hot girl" thrown in for eye candy.

Sounds like this should be called something else, Maybe the poltiergetters. I think I'll keep using the Ghostbusters game as the third movie.

And which "Hot Girl" will that be? Emma Stone as I mentioned? I would also say Megan Fox. But she's in TMNT now. 3 Geek type franchises might be too much.

I'm not too interested at this point, because I have a feeling this movie is going to be Bridesmaids dressed up as Ghostbusters. (I didn't like Bridesmaids).

Exactly what I think, it's not that I dislike the idea of an all female Ghostbusters, it's just that I think they should put some of today's best comedians together, like how the original was, regardless of gender. Specifically stressing the all female part makes me worried they're going to make another "women can be just as crude as men" comedy that is less trying to be clever and more to be over the top vulgar.
