ya the soundtrack is one of the better ones, gamewise, i cant imagine not listening to it whole playing. Some scences its incredibly good (shadow moses) final fight with liquid. Its a lil throwback

Anyone started or finished the game on big boss hard or extreme yet?

Well, I did beat it on Big Boss Hard. And if I can, then anyone can. I've started to play on the Extreme and am about halfway through the second act. I don't know if I can beat it completely on Extreme as there were a few parts of the game on Big Boss Hard that I barely beat. Talk to Proteus or Kai200. They both beat it on the Extreme without alerting anyone, killing anyone, and did it in less than 5 hours.

what do you have to do to get the big boss mask again? and what about the solar gun? im on act 5 playing on boss hard this time. but im 13 hours in , and i already killed people. i tried not to but every time an act is done it always says i killed people. one time i didnt kill anyone and it said i killed 86 times

List for it, for me is Raiden is not a playable character and fact gameplay is well too short.

To get the Big Boss mask you have to play through Big Boss Extreme with no kills, no alerts, no recovery items, no special items, and no continues in 5 hours or less. If I remember correctly for the solar gun you have to have to put down all the frogs and Beauty and the Beast bosses with tranqs or vrings, or whatever will stop them non lethally and collect their statues.

What exactly can you kill and what cant you kill? on the first act i didn't kill anybody,but it said i did.what am i doing wrong?

You can't kill anything througout the entire game for the Big Boss mask on the hardest difficulty. Just use the tranq gun or choke them until they are knocked out. If your gun that is equipped is blue in the bottom right it should be a non lethal round and should be safe. If you're just trying to get the solar gun you can kill anything you want except for the Beauty and the Beast bosses and every single Frog enemy in the building shoot out. You have to use tranquilizers on them all and collect their statues at the end of each fight.

This game is very cool...But after playing it for a hour i started getting sick...i never have played too many games like this..usually racing games or puzzles...this game just came with the 80 gb ps3 i bought so i figured heck..why not try it...I love the game..Just when im hanging over my sink in the bathroom watching dinner go down the drain...maybe i should limit my playing time....Anyone else ever experience getting dizzy or sick after playing this a while? or any game?

I heard stories and always would think...how could that really happen...and it just did to me

lol not at all dude, i think u just had some food poisoning haha. i just played for a lil and im good its my second run through and believe me, first time around i played for hours at a time and i was all good

I know you have to use the tranq gun thats what iv been doing. but for some reson after the first act it said i killed people.. it doesn't matter now,I'll just start over and try again.

If you tranq someone and they still die, you get the kill. Some people say that in the Frog part, if you tranq them while they are on a wall and they fall, you get a kill. Some say other wise.

The only things you can kill are the unmanned enemies like the Gekko, Dwarf Gekko or the things that fly around with Raven. Try not to shoot barrels that explode because if they kill something, you get a kill.

And about the Solar Gun. You have to kill the Bosses non lethal in their first form then collect the figurine that appears before you defeat the second form. For the one in Act I, if you let the Rat Patrol kill all the Frogs, a figurine will be by the wall after you part ways with the Rat Patrol. Once you have all the figurines and complete the game, you will get the Solar Gun. Example: If you have the figurines from all the Acts accept Act I, you can collect the Act I figurine, but you still have to complete the game and meet up with the Mk. II on your next play through before you get it.

It certainly didn't lack cutscenes. I think its biggest problem was it lacked actual gameplay (slightly). Still, probably one of the best consoles games around regardless of format.

Choke them until they are out is a bad idea in The Boss Extreme because it take too long. Use CQC or even Mk.II is better than choking them out.

Anyway, I'm kinda tired reading on the other message board that how easy to beat The Boss Extreme just because they stocked up on previous save and got all the necessary weapons like Solar gun or Rail gun to help them make it easier. Urghh /rant
