While I certainly want the Royals to win, I wish that they didn't rely on their bullpen so heavily. I imagine we'll never see simplified managing again like the way Ozzie managed his 2005 team. Every starter in the world series went at least 7 innings and in the ALCS there were four straight complete game wins (bullpen only worked 2/3 of an inning in that entire series).

Giants better handle their business tonight. You don't want to keep an experienced team like the Cardinals hanging around. Once you get them down, knock them out.

Unfortunately, we have Waino pitching, he has been our ace this year, 20 game winner, but he can't get 4 innings out of a post season game....without letting up 5-6 runs.....

I hope he proves me wrong.

Nav, remember in 2012, Cards were up in the series 3 games to 1....

As MovieFan said, don't count the Cards out, they are aces at coming back....BUT, they reported on our news today that we've been down 3-1 4 times in our history and never came back to win....

about 20 minutes to game time!
