HELL YEA finished act 3 with a total time of act 1,2,3 2h28m49secs i must say that bike chapter is fracking hard u got nothing to bring in of skills its mostly a luckly aim am happy that am past that shadow moses i hope is gonna be a bit easyer

2 acts to go and then am a big boss

as an fyi, hiding like a ***** also works with crying wolf - assuming you don't care how long you take. hide under the prime mover that you start out near, and eventually (key word: eventually) wolf will wander into your sights (if you shoot the white dangly heat exhausts? she takes damage and a hit to psyche) as well as set up for a railgun shot in your sights.

Sorry, dude. I can't. And I know it's nothing to a bunch of you guys who have beat the game with no kills, continues, recovery items, or alerts, but after a hard fought hour and a half, I just beat Raging Raven on the extreme. I had a heck of a time too. I don't know how you guys do it. Needless to say though, this game is *****in'!!!

I just replayed the MSG Saga (1-3) after playing part 4. Some of you may not like to hear this but I actually think part 3 is the best in the series. (Subsistance version with controllable camera or course).

Order of preference:
1) Part 3 (Subsistance version)
2) Part 1 (a very close second) (Twin Snakes version)
3) Part 4
4) Part 2

This does not mean that any of them are bad, in fact they are all excellent games. This is just my order of preference.

Im trying to complete the game with zero alerts now, but my question is what about the parts where its a mandatory alert. for example, at shodow moses where you're waiting for Otacon to open the door and the gekko comes out of the elevator and you have to distract it. Does that count as an alert.

no. neither do the parts on haven when you're fighting in the control room or dealing with a swarm of dwarf gekkos.

all i know is they're really annoying! Also, I got the mantis and sorrow doll, but what good are they?

I tried them yesterday and they seem kinda pointless. all they do is string up an enemy and thats it, you cant control them or move them
