And why do I get so upset?
Because any minute now, some joker will say that Having the Big Real Thing with a Big Orchestra, 'N Stuff was better than the '84 Giorgio Moroder version, which had ten times more feeling by just stripping out the Teamster politics and turning it into a "love conquers all" Broadway musical.
Purists may howl, but I've tested the two back to back, and know whereof I speak.
(Sorry I can't go out and post Netflix links, since Moroder lost the indie rights years ago and the only known 80's VHS pressing will fetch $300 on eBay, but you'll either have to trust me on this or start whispering around for bootleg sources.)
