I'll be using these guys again for sure. If anyone is looking for a framer in the Toronto area let me know via PM, I'll pass his name along for sure.

First shot is of the JP I just got framed and the second picture is it next to the two Michael's did for me a while back.

Looks fabulous man. Your new found shop did a great job.

Fantastic framing job on the JP! The blue in the sky and the green in the trees really stands out.

Great job Roar on that JC Richard frame job...i missed out on that JP on his site when it went up for sale but i'm sure Mondo will be using him much more this year. His art prints are amazing and sleeping in light is one of my favorites by him and i do have one print by him (Last in a line) which i still need to get framed. I think Kill Bill would be high up on my framing list if not at the top if i had it.

you could always message the seller see if hes willing to drop a few dollars off the asking price. That's what i usually do. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't but it doesn't hurt to try.

Also think of the framing options here, Average Joe can't walk into Michaels and get a 27x39 or 26x38 frame, but there's about 10 different versions of a 27x40 frame at an affordable price sitting right there for him to choose from.

You really can't feel that actual collectors who want the real deal are being duped on such a grand scale by MovieGoods.com and the like can you?
Allforce, trust me when I say this, you aren't looking at the big picture. I over 20 years in this industry, I know a lot of things the average collector doesn't know, nor realize. There are a lot of shady people that like to dupe collectors. Reprints always used to be smaller than 27x40 inches, originals were that, and that was one of the many ways to tell an original from a reprint. It has nothing to with demand for a 27x40 reprint, its clearly to make people think what they are is buying is an original. The seasoned collector knows to stay away from them as well as the other websites they sell under (but under different names), but the average collector or the person who is new to this hobby simply doesn't know better. I have spoken to people who have bought from them and regretted it because they "assumed" they were ordering an original BECAUSE it was listed as 27x40 inches in size. Again, there was a time when that is really all that you needed to know to tell an original from a reprint, but not anymore, its become more difficult, thanks to dealers like them. All they are doing is taking images from digital press kits or various websites and printing up digital copies in all sorts of sizes, many speculate unlicensed too. That is probably one of the reasons Fox and Disney sued them, along with others. It's all on the net if you search for it.

Yes we probably did, I am not sure why Allforce has this love for them, I have given more enough reasons for collectors to be very leery of them and others like them. I don't have a personal gripe with Allforce, not all, but I try to inform and help collectors (many of them here on this forum), not try to take advantage of them mislead them like some in the poster industry do. It really comes down to this, why are they so reluctant to simply state "Reproduction" for each of their listings? If they have any honor about them, they would, but they don't, so you have to ask yourself "Why?" If people want reproductions, I have no problem with that at all, but as a seller, why are they so hesitant to state that their posters are reproductions that they digitally produce?

Well to each their own, I won't tell you or anyone else what to do with their posters, but ultimately you may have some titles that are quite valuable or will be, and trimming/laminating them pretty much makes them worthless, but at the end of the day, if you are getting enjoyment from them, that's all that matters.
