What a relief! That's wonderful news from Japan. I'm sure the film will be a lot of fun in our 3D home theaters!

So there is also a chance that "Deadpool 3" will be released on 3D disc, although I'm still not sure at all and I highly doubt that it will be the first film in the series to get a 3D version.

Amazing news, God I love 3D is a pity the current state of limited releases.

Although I don't like this movie at all I'm going to try to buy it (it all depends on the shipping restrictions) to support the format.

Boom! Day one purchase. The 3D in this movie was just as good as Doctor Strange 2.

Just remember that the shipping costs will be high initially so a day 1 pre-order will cost more than a pre-order placed a week or so before release. This is because the pre-order price guarantee only applies to the item cost, not the shipping cost. Amazon.jp work on an estimation of item weight to calculate shipping cost, and they always overestimate.

Some people place an order then cancel it and re-order when the price drops but if you do this just be aware of the cancellation policy.

Is this part the same, whether you're ordering the regular 3D blu-ray or the steelbook version?

I believe so, but the rules on cancellations are much stricter for SteelBooks and they can sell out, so that has to be factored in if you want the SteelBook edition.

I usually pay £60 all in. So I wait for the pre-order price to drop to that price and then I place my order.

I'll be skipping this as I have no interest in this movie but I'm glad it's being offered.

Very glad this will be getting a 3D release! Especially since I may be getting close to pulling the trigger on a 100 inch projector.

Too many back issues to see this at the IMAX so really excited that we're tracking to get a 3D blu-ray! I saw the 3D trailer on my 120" screen before it got pulled and this really does look to have some seriously nice 3D.

I don't have much any expectation for the film, I know the reviews and opinions are all over the map. Having said that I enjoyed the introductions of all the main characters in their previous outings and I'm almost certainly going to like it more than the last Thor movie.

Remember to sit a little bit closer to the screen when you see 3D movies.

Enjoy!!!

Normal when I see 3D in IMAX I’m dead centre of the cinema so I can see the entire screen. By accident I bought a ticket that was closer to the screen. The experience was weird in that I was fully immersed and felt like I was ‘in’ the movie but the downside was I felt like I was watching tennis because I was having to turn my head to take in all the action.

I don’t know what I prefer with regard to watching a movie and seeing everything without having to turn my head or being immersed in a movie but having to turn my head.

I told that to him because at the same distance a 3D projection will look a little bit smaller than a 2D projection... well, that's in my experience anyway. I think is because of the new depth that 3D brings to the image, it looks like the image is far behind from the actual physical screen.
