Lol that's funny.I think it's a little to early to worry about the title.there still working hard on the avengers.

But yeah, the majority are giving it 4 Stars & a good amount are voting 5 Stars as well.

Rotten Tomatoes is in similar territory with THOR, with almost an 80% Positive Rating (78% actually, with 164 Positive, & 46 Rotten ).

I'm sure it will follow most Marvel superhero films and simply be Thor 2.

Though, I am partial to Thor With A Vengeance as the title to the 3rd film and Live Free or Die Thor for the 4th

Okay, so am I tripping, or was the Infinity Gauntlet nowhere to be found? I know we were expecting to see it after Comic-Con last year, and considering they hadn't finished development on The Avengers, I'm sure it wasn't made for that. I was so sure that Loki would acquire it in this one.

Wow....loved it. As the beginning of the movie began to play, I just sat there in aww thinking 'ive been reading about this movie for a long time, and its finally here'. This site got me soo pumped for this Marvel summer, and I thank u all for it!

[Show spoiler]I liked a few of the nods to the comic fan....in the background in Jane's town when Thor is walking down the street, there's a water tower in the background that says something like "Welcome, Home of the Vikings". Another seen shows the phrase "Land of Enchantment.....Journey into Mystery"....i think this was one of the first titles of the Thor comics. A nice lil nod to those diehard Thor comic fans.

Definitely a good movie. I like the actor for Thor, looks spot on. 4 out of 5 for sure. There were a few things over the top (yeah, I know God of Thunder) but all in all a great first outing.

There will not be a Thor sequel. After the film there was a very specific message on the screen that stated "Thor will return in The Avengers." This tells me that he will not have another standalone production.


My theory based on that single line of text shown on the screen...

[Show spoiler]It is my belief that The Avengers will start with Jane discovering the technology to create the Einstein-Rosen bridge. The power cube shown in the post-credit clip of Thor will inevitably power the tech. Jane's science partner, Erik Selvig, who is under Loki's influence, will no doubt take control of said tech allowing Loki to come to Earth realm from wherever he is now so he can terrorize the planet. Jane or Nic Fury (likely Jane since Thor knows her already) will seek out the God Of Thunder for help while the other superheroes work as a group and struggle against Loki.
