I don't think Preacher will ever happen. I think I have been hearing about that project since around 2003.

Damn misleading title. I thought this was an action movie...if it's good, I'll still see it. Sounds interesting.

Well it kind of is, the book was pretty good and it's definitely a different approach for a modern day preacher, but considering he's a biker and ex-junkie this wasn't too far out of character. There should be several really brutal and violent shootouts.

Brutal violence doesn't constitute an action movie. Many dramas, comedies, etc have that in them. Plus it's saying how different a role this is for Butler. I look forward to the trailer. That'll show us the tone and what to expect.

Well no plot would constitute an action film, but I just meant that there should be some pretty good action sequences in they adapt it correctly.

With this movie coming out in under two months, wonder when the hell they will start marketing this. Or it will be limited and that's why we haven't seen anything released until this one photo.

No, that picture I posted earlier is the very first and only piece of marketing to be released and that just came out today.
