It's not just a brief tagline, IIRC It was also the original working title for the story, back before Shane Black pitched this as a series at CBS.

Just give it time and the price will go down. They always do.

The worst part is Keanu and The Nice Guys are both getting VUDU UHD releases with Dolby Vision.

Exactly! It'll keep bugging me that I coulda gotten a better version and they're not releasing it. But digital will get it and no way I'm paying 30 bucks for digital 4k version when they would have included it in the code.

I would imagine that at this early stage on the biggest titles really sell enough on UHD to make it worth it. Give it time.

I'm surprised there isn't a steelbook for this. I missed it in theaters, but I may just have to blind buy it. The previews looked pretty damn funny to me.

Peanuts got one too. I would guess that has to do with CGI being a great showoff for the format. Also different studios, right? They're all going to make different choices. Also also did that movie bomb like Nice Guys did? With discs becoming much more niche we're probably slowly entering an era where bombs get digital only releases and forgo BD, let alone UHD.

In certain cultures, there is great honor in using certain 4K discs as cupholders.

Wild wasn't a blockbuster either.

Peanuts did pretty well ($130M domestically)

It wouldn't matter. The movie was finished in 2K.

It was fun. If you liked other Shane Black flicks such as Last Boy Scout or Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, then you'll like this one too. It's got the same kind of vibe as those, a bit of comedy-a bit of action.
