I can just about take bets it will be a timed release with Transformers 2. They will release it with the Blu-Ray of the sequel to guarantee the greatest interest. Or they will release it 2-3 months before the theatrical release of the film TF2, with something like "Take an exclusive peek at the upcoming movie"

Either way it will be timed to garner the greatest interest/sales.

For those that missed the humor in this, Max is one of the few people who probably has a good idea under what conditions Paramount / Dreamworks can opt out of HD DVD - and thus probably a good idea when they might come back to releasing on Blu-ray.

I voted for November of '08. I'm actually split 50/50 between this timeframe and some time in 2009. I doubt it will be any sooner because I think Paramount will clutch onto the sinking S.S. HD-DUD until the bitter end to try and save face.

I agree with this too. Its either going to be ASAP after their back to blu-ray support announcement or wait til Transformers 2.

I went with july just because that is when it came out in the movies, but any month would be fine with me as long as it is blu.
