Fight Club. Quite possibly the best film made in the last ten years.

anything from disney, and good movies... I'll leave the movie I don't like in SD DVD, such as Matrix (no offense intended).

the last sd dvd i bought was American Gangster,(I didnt want to wait for the bd),but it will be the last sd i ever buy! I will replace all sd with blu, when they are released. i really prefer bd's pq in comparison to upscaled sd's. so its all out, similar to when dvd replaced my vhs collection!

The dvds that look the worst are the darker ones. The Lighter ones ain't so bad since the PS3 is an AMAZING upscaler. Animations aren't too shabby either, and some argue that they don't really need to be on blu-ray.
So my first re-buy is the fountain, I went back and looked at the darker scenes and they looked extra compressed on dvd.

Dark City is one of my titles I want on blu. I'd love a release for Dark City such as the one for Blade Runner...please pour on the extras..

If I could only have one movie on BD, it would be Lord of the Rings! (if that counts as one movie)

I'm probably not going to upgrade my DVDs for a long time. Not until I can get the BDs cheaper. It's too early to upgrade everything. Right now, I'm just focusing on new releases, and an upgrade here and there.

I kept my music std dvd's, but traded nearly 600 regular dvds at hastings, got about 1400 instore credit, then my girlfriend (who works at hastings) used her discount and we cleaned out the store, it was fun! If you know somebody who works at a store like that, trade em in and cashout with blus

Not to turn this into a Hastings discussion, but I found this story funny so I have to tell a Hastings store of my own. There used to be a Hastings in the town I live in, and they had the practice of giving very good rebuy credit and even cash at the time. Myself and a few of my friends would go around to the local pawn shops and buy up large amounts of stuff and take it all to Hastings and make a good profit.

It got to the point where they just had mountains of stuff piled everywhere unprocessed . I kept thinking that evenually they would put a stop to it, because we were obviously taking advantage of the policy, but they never did. Just bad management I guess, and not surprisingly that store went out of business not long after that. I don't know exactly what role that may have played in the matter, but it couldn't have helped.

Really looking forward to 'Donnie Darko' and 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest'.

I will be gradually overhauling all of my SD-DVD's into their Blu-ray counterparts. My collection will eventually be all high-definition material. We've certainly got some time before all of our SD-DVD collections are replaced entirely with their Blu-ray twin.

(Just look to my avatar for my most desired titles)
