xBox's online is a paid service and playstation online is a free service, so I'm expecting more from the x360 service for MS sake. I'm sure if SONY decided to charge for their online service, they would totally beef up their offerings.

Updates are easy to apply for the ps3. It takes only minutes to download the update and install it on the ps3. Broadband helps with the file size. I think with sony having their service free seperates them from microsoft. They want to keep things simple. There is plenty more that they can do with their service. Home seems to be a real nice addition.
