Depending on their age, there are some movies Disney Channel shows in October. Under Wraps about kids who find & befriend a mummy and Halloween Town are good movies for kids.

I've got all the Universal Monster Movies, Dracula, Frankenstein, The Mummy, etc.

Period movies are good too.... I like The Lady in White, the kids haven't seen that one yet.

I haven't seen that in years. I believe it was "The Adventures Of Mark Twain", by the same man who did the California Raisin commercials back in the 80's.

I guess I am thinking more along the lines of Nosferatu:Phantom der Nacht than Ernest Scared Stupid. (sorry SS316SRV) They have seen Monster Squad and thought it was okay. I guess they are a little more "sophisticated" (Um yeah, we just watched Godzilla King of the Monsters las weekend and they loved it, so I think we are going to have a giant monster movie night.)

The funniest scary movie I saw on Halloween was Shawn of the Dead. Not sure if that'd work for kids though. Maybe Beetlejuice would work better.
