if you want the big LCD that much id go with the samsung hands down theyre just so damn gorgeous. is LCD the only think you are open to? you could get a KILLER plasma for that price also.

hey all, didnt wanna start a whole new thread, but what is the best product to use to clean LCD screens? I have a 46'' Sony and it is in dire need of a screen cleaning.

I typically go with Samsung, I love mine and bang for buck its the best especially if your talking the 5 series vs s or v series or 6 series vs w series, but if I were choosing a 750/850 vs and xbr, i would go xbr.

I would go into a store and compare an LCD and Plasma side to side, if you like the picture on plasma get that but if you like the brightness get an LCD.

if you go with an LCD

Samsung ln52a650 $1900 shipped at amazon
or Samsung Ln52a750 $2000 shipped at amazon

if you go with Plasma

Pan th50pz800u $1750 shipped on amazon.

if it was me I would go with the 800u.

Personally I am a Sony guy so I would go with a Sony. I have a 46inch Sony HD and its the best thing I have yet spent my money on as far as HD goes. The thing is is it's your money and you spend it on what you like. Samsung or Sony? They both make excellent HD tv's so you cant go wrong with either.
