I solved the problem. All I had to do was, shut down the tv, and turn it back on. That's how simple it was, I was just thinking way to difficult.
Thanks everyone for being so helpfull. |

Ok, just checking that you are switching your TV to HDMI when you change the settings. To me it sounds like the 30 seconds that your screen is black until it comes back, you need to switch the imput channel via your TV. If you leave it on the imput that you had the signal on, you will not see anything. Unless your TV does the auto signal detection. Once again I am just checking that you are doing this because in what I read, you left that step out.
Solution: With your standard (composite) cables that came with your PS3, go to your display settings and select HDMI and do a manual setup. Choose your resolutions and leave out 1080p. You could even choose your lowest reso now and just do auto later. After you get the black screen, switch your imput on your TV to HDMI and see if you have a picture there. If you do, select yes and the PS3 will stay set up on HDMI and ask you to set your audio output settings. If all this works for you, feel free to go back in and do another Auto HDMI set up, or redo manual and select the settings you want, just dont make the same mistake again. |

I have a solution.
1. Press the PS button for 5 seconds. 2. Scroll to left 20 times 3. Scroll down 15 time, then back up 2 times then down again once 4. Press x, o, x, x, x, o, o 5. Repeat step 4 six times (make sure you do it correctly, if not you have to go back to step #1) 6. Press and hold te ^ buttn for 10 seconds 7. scroll to right seven times and then back 2 times and then right once. 8. Press x, o, o,o, o,o, x,x,^,^, x Or you can just turn off your tv and then turn it back on. ![]() |
