Anybody ever have an issue with blowitouttahere's ebay page?
I ordered the Australian Hitchcock Complete series DVD sets for $150 each, which was already expensive for DVDs but the cheapest I could find. They both came bouncing around the boxes with the cases completely smashed, one of the boxes crushed, and multiple discs in each set scratched. I’ve ordered a few things. Most have arrived fine but my ‘Spine of Night’ 4k steelbook came with a few scratches on the 4k disc and they gave me a full refund on that item.
I’m trying to remember how quick their response was but I don’t really remember. I do recall that I had to send pics of the scratches before they gave me the refund. |

Yeah, I will definitely do that. Just surprised to see a big corporation completely ignore the issue/messages. These are big sets so it will not be cheap to mail them back, but either way, the costs will be on them. |

Unfortunately scratched discs seem to be the new normal now. Literally every release I buy now has scratches on the discs.
Was asking as in previous years, if I had a scratched disc, I would return/exchange it right away but now with how often I get them I will just return/exchange if it has playback issues. |

That is true, and that is why I used to return all my scratched discs but now with almost every disc coming scratched it really is not feasible anymore.

I can't seem to find anything in their return shipping policy that states what you did was wrong. As long as you initiated the return through eBay and have proof the items you received were damaged + proof you paid for return shipping through communication with the seller via eBay I can't see how they don't side with you. They kept telling me I should have contacted them when the seller couldn’t pay for the return shipping so they could have forced them to, and that way it would be a transaction through eBay, but they literally sent me a message saying the seller couldn’t provide return labels and to arrange shipping with the seller. They read all the messages where the seller said send it back and we’re reimbursement you when we receive the receipt of costs and they’re just washing their hands of all of it. I too always believed the buyer was better covered, and I’m really surprised that a large company like blowitouttahere would steal money from a customer. Whole situation is ridiculous! I never in a million years thought this would be a thing, but I’ll definitely be more weary next timesomeone asks me to cover the return shipping costs. The best part was every time I would phone they would thank me for being a customer with them for 20 years, with a perfect record I might add, but obviously that means nothing to them. |

Agreed. The only message I received from them was the seller couldn’t send a return label, and to arrange a deal with the seller. Mind you, I didn’t think this would be an issue with a large company. It never even crossed my mind that they would rip me off the money.
