Anything a little prying with a screwdriver can't handle a hacksaw can. I'd much rather deal with that than with target customer service, much less their returns, especially for a limited steel they may never restock. But I get not everyone grew up working in construction or a mechanics shop.

I’ve mostly stopped buying from Target because they are the worst with packaging and almost everything I receive is damaged. But, with the sale and my a bunch of Target Circle $, I was able to get Midnight Run 4K for $10.

Received it in one of those form fitting cardboard mailers; the case was bent along the spine - I suppose either from the pressure of sealing the mailer or during shipping. But, whatever, I can live with that. Unfortunately, though, the 4K disc looks like someone used a cheese grater on it. There are so many scratches. I contacted Shout on Tuesday but haven’t received a reply.

I might just return it to Target on Monday because I’ll be near a store. Anyone know whether the Circle rewards will be returned to my account, or will I lose them? Hate to lose having it at that price, but I can’t wait forever for Shout to respond.

I can't imagine them not selling the 4K. I thought about buying it, but since I saw it in the theater and I'm not in a rush, I think I'm going to wait for BF on this one -- or a price drop if it happens sooner.

You're probably better off swapping it with target if it's within the return window, especially if it's your only recent return where their automated system might just send out another without you having to return the damaged copy. But, if you've had another recent return, their system will probably require you send it back first. Shout only works out of their offices two days a week. As such, when they reply it'll start off with "Sorry it took so long..." Or something to that effect. They seem to be pretty quick with replacements, but they'll require pictures of the damage, so it could be another week for them to respond again after you send those. And with our last request Shout replaced a scratched BD with another scratched BD. So...

Yeah, I tried to exchange but it came up 'return only.' It's probably because they had sold out their stock. I'll have to check and see whether they get more before my return window ends.

I do recall one other time contacting Shout (that was a direct order from Shout) and them responding a while later asking for pics. So, I sent that and my receipt along with my first e-mail this time.

I returned something and had a target $10 off in my circle to be used , They took it away , Not sure how they handle them if you used a coupon and you return an item .

You think they would use better shipping then dealing with so many returns for damaged items . They all ready let people steal up to $999 and then cry there losing money , Should just have a sniper on the roof fire a warning shot , Takes care of that , I betcha no one steals again !
