Myself and 2 friends built the room. My main goal was to make nothing visible. No wires, No speakers, No equipment and No Electrical outlets or Light Switches.

We did this by building an equipment room outside of the theater, Speakers are behind the acoustic screen and in each acoustic column, The lights and Electrical outlets all have hidden trap doors built into the acoustic panels for access and the wires are ran through smurf tubes in the soffits around the room.

Thanks for the compliments.

There are always things to change in this hobby... lol, I already have a laundry list started for things to do over the next 2 years.

The List So far is:
- get the ceiling airbrushed with a night sky
- Have the soffits and trims faux finished in a red marble instead of the plain red
- Add a D-Box platform to the front row of seats
- New Projector

You did a wonderful job, and by your laundry list, you have an impressive plan for the future of the room. Although, it is already quite impressive!

Doesn't that equalizer screen drive you nuts though? Do you turn it off when watching movies?

Yeah, they are the CM1's with the FS-700/CM stands. They are gorgeous in person, and sound amazing with the new Rotel 1572 I just got.

It's the equalizer from foobar2000 I only have it on when I'm playing music.

Do the CM series have threaded holes on the bottom to secure them to those stands? That was my biggest selling point on those stands (because I found others much more aesthetically pleasing for the price)

Setup certainly looks fantastic though...... LOVE Rotel....

Yeah they have holes so they can be attached to the stands. They are great stands. They're well built and solid.

did you fill them??? The guys at my local shop told me to use plastic bags from newspapers etc... and fill it with cat-litter, and drop them into the stands..... they're heavy enough (and I use the carpet spikes) that I didn't see the need..... they claim it will help with the sound though..... who knows
