I can't even imagine the negative discussion and online discourse if Disney had short-printed their pinnacle show steelbooks. Oh man people would be angry and dying to get their hands on these steelbooks at any cost, if they weren't so readily available from multiple retailers. They'd each be $200+ in a heartbeat. Collectors would be pissed.
I try to prioritize the things I know I want badly and would be sad if they ever sold out or went OOP. Mandalorian 1-2, Wandavision, and Loki 4K / MCU steelbooks personify that type of subtext. I pre-ordered them right away at Amazon and never looked back; these are exactly those types of must-have items if you've been collecting the the other MCU steels. And I rarely pre-order ANYTHING. The price was right on the money too. They didn't overcharge or gouge us. It was one of the happiest surprises of the year that Disney decided to put out their best shows on disc, in UHD, AND collectable steelbook. Gotta reward that type of behavior. |

All this Kool-Aid talk makes me feel obligated to say that I am born and raised and still living in Hastings, Nebraska- the birthplace of Kool-Aid!

The 35 cents Kool Aid (grape, cherry, fruit punch all unsweetened) is my go-to Target filler. I don't know if you guys can find a cheaper filler. The good thing about this filler is that many stores carry it. One time I had a Target Circle Offer of $5 reward for any Drive-up. The guy who delivered the 0.13oz Kool-Aid to my trunk looked really confused. But I got my $5 for spending 35 cents. Last week I had a Target Circle Offer of $5 off on $30. I grabbed three $9.99 movies and two $4.99 milk, and Kool Aid was there to the rescue.
For those who don't have RC and they need $35 for free shipping, you can choose to have the 35 cents Kool Aid filler for store pickup and your other items will ship for free. If you don't pick it up in 4 days the Kool Aid will be auto cancelled. Save Target the money and trouble of not having it shipped separately. That's the versatility of Kool Aid. You can grab it, ship it, or abandon it. It will meet the spending requirement. Last edited by taiwan; 11-29-2023 at 06:18 PM. |

On a very sad note, have you noticed how tiny Target's inventory is right now? I always select the movie music & book category and filter by checking all the 4K and Blu-ray boxes. Right now Target only carries 641 titles. I remember before Warner MOD got removed couple years ago, that number used to be in the 10's of thousands. Just last month when Target had a 20% off (and I had another 10% off one time use), they had a couple thousand titles using the same filter. Every single item I ordered that day are no longer in the Target system. If I click on it I get an error now.
The end is very near. As you know Ingram is shutting down the business early next year. According to Hariseldon they the supplier for Target. The next B2G1 might be meaningless. Let's hope BF always overlaps with B2G1. |

Target got all 6 blus to me on Tuesday in 2 packages of 3. All 6 had slips. They are dinged up, but I don’t know if that was the brown bag type envelopes or what. I’m shocked all 6 had them. Amazon or Best Buy haven’t made it yet (Thursday before checking mail).

You get bent covers though I just bought Chris Stapleton Higher Vinyl $13.99 and Wakanda Forever for $13.99 was free. I had all the rest of the listed titles so just took Wakanda. Stapleton is one of the "flash" titles that periodically comes up and goes fast. I keep missing Tron Legacy but did nail Stones Hackney Diamonds and Prince Welcome 2 America [which surprisingly came in Mint Condition, the Stones just a slight corner bend] Buy one get one free promo is over WARNING: Bullseye [Target outlet for returned albums and blemished covers] will most likely send the albums in a thin white plastic envelope. You will most likely get an opened album, bent corners, mangled covers and packing tape used to seal open albums [this is actually the worst thing Bullseye/Target does] I've bought over 25 albums and only received one broken album [they refunded] and only one album with Abba Gold a 2 LP set [just kept it]. Most of the albums were $10-12. The vinyl all played as expected but I'm more into the color of the vinyl actually. I mean right now you can buy the Madonna Finally Enough Love 2 LP Clear Vinyl for $12.99. I bought 2 and both had slightly bent covers but were in better shape than some of the other titles I've gotten. They were both sealed with the Target Exclusive sticker Again only if you don't care about cover condition but love a deal, you're taking a chance and rolling the dice. I do want to say that 90% of what I received was factory sealed with the Target Exclusive sticker. It's possible the bent corners came from when people returned the album by mail and since the covers were blemished Target decided to sell them through ebay under the Bullseye store front. There's other stuff listed besides vinyl and CDs. I heard they will block you if you do too many returns. https://www.ebay.com/sch/176985/i.ht...eyedeal&_oac=1 the Taylor Swift 1989 flash deal was 12.99 if you are lucky enough to see it, Taylor Swift Red 15.99, Morgan Wallen One Thing 18.99 both flash deals Last edited by 50strat54; 12-01-2023 at 03:38 PM. |

I go to my local shops, and search for cool/vintage titles at $1 to $5 each, or the rare stuff for more. No one needs to pay $30 for the latest Mariah Carey Christmas album on vinyl from Target.
![]() Don't get me wrong...If you're new to records, like some are to 4K, then you do you. PS: When you select Music on their site, guess what comes up first. ![]() ![]() |
