No where did i say it was the worst movie ever made..... because its not

Yeah well your going to hate it if that's your mentality. The best attitude to take is not to compare it to the first cause of course it's the weaker of the two.

I know exactly how you guys feel in regards to having your favorite movie come out on an exciting new format. I got mine in October with the release of Beetlejuice!

This is on my list of buys for sure.

Did you even read the part where they said "I know most of us will never pay the 40 bucks" and acknowledged that it's the MSRP?

They were simply saying that $40 is a bit of a high MSRP for a catalog title, which I agree with personally. It's just lucky for Sony that this is one of my favorite movies.

C'mon, it wasn't THAT bad. You want a film locked in the vault? Lawnmower Man 2. It sucks so much you can feel the breeze while you watch.

When I buy into a movie franchise, I always buy the sequels no matter how terrible because I still find something likeable about it. With Lawnmower Man 2 I pretty much pretend it doesn't exist. Pity, as the graphics were a large degree better.

I'll have to rewatch Ghost Busters on DVD just to see if I want the boo-rays.

This is good news to me since i love Ghostbusters.

I'll be picking this up on release day as a early birthday gift to myself unless a family member of mines gets it for me on my birthday (June 20th).

I must start giving hints to my family members that this is coming out on Blu-ray a few days before my birthday.

I hope part 2 also comes out on Blu-ray.

I'm glad i held back on buying the DVD set.

Bill Hunt at The Digital Bits is reporting that Sony is supposedly holding back Ghostbusters 2 for its own special release later. Considering they were both announced together last year and then delayed, this is extremely annoying.

Day 1 purchase for me (both the BD of the movie and the new game). Now if I can just scrape together enough for that awesome Real Ghostbusters Complete Series set from Time Life, this will be a good year to be a Ghostbusters fan indeed!

And they're doing the smart thing and dropping it in price with an SLP of $28.99.
