Same for me since a lot of stuff I want probably won't be on Blu-ray until like another 1-2 years from now at least.

If I really want to see a movie that is not available on Blu, I'll just Netflix it.

just blu, cause i'm not into upconverting! when i want a woman, i want a real flesh & blood woman, not a virtual woman that people claims is just as good or almost.

Only movies that I enjoy that I don't forsee on blu-ray for sometime. This includes some Hitchcock classics and Audrey Hepburn movies.

Blu-ray purchases are limited to discs that get very good ratings for picture and audio on this site. Just purchased Earth on blu-ray.

For best picture blu-ray looks great but most dvds upscaled have a very good acceptable picture.

I am more critical of all video purchases as I have many dvds watched only once and some not watched yet. There is only so much time to watch movies.

Sometimes, you can get some amazing deals on ebay.

Not usually movies though, mostly sports & stand up comedy.

I buy my son plenty of dvds, I dont see bob the builder coming to blu any time soon.

Yes. Because its about the movie, not the format.
