Viper will always have a special place in my heart! In high school my friends and I went to 6 Flags Magic Mountain, Disneyland an Knott's Berry Farm a LOT, but mostly MM because the season passes were only about $10 more than 1 day at Disneyland and they often had BOGO$5 Coke can promos. sometimes, when we entered the park they'd give us a card that we could take to the passholder office and get a pass for the next day with our picture on it for $1.

Anyhoo, even though Superman, Riddler's Revenge and Goliath all went up in those few years, Viper was always the first ride we'd see and could hear the screams from while going through the parking lot. It was usually the first ride we'd go on too, since it was in front...unless we were in line when the park opened, in which case we'd RUN to the back of the park to the new (at the time) Riddler's before the line got 80 minutes long...or if it was super hot already, then we'd hand a right and go on Log Jammer.

Plus, the valley girl that worked there cracked us up every time. "Enjoy your ride on the VYP-perrrrrr!!!"

That's how I feel on Katsu. X2 isn't so bad for me but the entire time on Katsu you look DOWN with only the harness holding you. I think the craziest part of X2 is the beginning when you flip over and end up facing straight down. A few friends of mine don't like it though because I think they tense up too much and end up with neck pain.

When I go to Disneyland, that is definitely my favorite ride at the park. The themeing is excellent and it feels like your going faster then you really are because of it. Great coaster all around and a definite classic.

Did you guys get to go on Space Mountain and California Screamin' back when they played the Red Hot Chili Peppers music on it? In Space Mountain they even did a whole new video and light show...it was pretty freaking awesome! I went on the Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy or whatever last month...kinda disappointing in comparison!

If a fusion of roller coasters and rock music is your thing, you gotta try the Aerosmith Rock n Roller Coaster at Disney World in the MGM park.

Rockin' California Screamin was the best, even better than the original.

My problem with Rockin' Space Mountain and the Ghost Galaxy overlay is that they introduce light in the show building so you can see effects and such. The whole reason why Space Mountain is so great is because it is so dark that you can't see where you're going...that also makes it seem like you are going faster than you are.

Whell, when you're a passholder who's riden Space Mountain a hundred times, you know where it's going anyway! I enjoyed the RHCP video/light show

I messed up the last time we went to MM. My group all arrived late, so we tried to go on X2, bad idea. 4 hour line.

Should have done Goliath and worked our way towards the front.
