PS3 Price-Cut

Effectively the retailers are selling the PS3 at $250 - $350 with the free titles and bundles offered since last week. If the price were any lower you would see the same problem the Wii is having.

I would expect a price drop in about 4 to 5 months if all three companies keep the same pattern of competitiveness.

bought mine on ebay for 800 CAD almost a year ago. no warranty either. I use it more than my 360 game wise. no fear of it going bad cause its been solid. best purchase ever

$299.99 is the "sweet spot" for PS3 or standalone BD players.

$400 is a phenominal price IMHO for the machine AS-IS. They need to raise the price back up if you asked me. The machine is way underrated for the low price.
