It looks as though target will though eventually. With the 3:1 blu ratio and new blu-ray s300 end caps. But I dont really think any companies will be making that leap just quite yet because they can still make money on hd-dvd

I bought the Sony HT-SS-2000 5.1 System. I bought it because it is designed to match Sony's Blu Ray players. I am not particularly happy with it as it doesn't have the power/amplification I was looking for. Looks nice though!

I've been as big a defender of new people here as you'll find. Even I was suspicious of your post being that it A.) was your first and B.) Represented the exact opposite opinion of the OP. You've gotta admit...

Anyway, I went for the <cough> joke and frankly, it KILLED!

Seriously, now that you've provided more details, it sounds reasonable and I apologize for the humor at your expense. Welcome!

Paden...thanks for the response. I am ashamed to say that I spend WAY too much of my work day on this site reading the posts. I have found them imformative and surely passionate. I chose BLU and want it to be the right choice...I HATE being wrong!

Every Wal*Mart I go to is 75% Blu, 25% HD DUD.
Dobyblue...as a BLU Guru, I give you your just respect. I could go to my Walmart and snap a picture, but damn hard to prove a negative. If I posted a picture of only HD DVD titles it would be disrespectful and inconclusive. I did go today and get an explanation (see earlier post). Their phone number is (360) 279-0665 if you want more information.

I really don't want to be disrespectful, but the responses I have received have struck a nerve. I am neither an audiophile nor videophile...I want a better picture with better sound and movies that take up less space on the shelf...I have replaced every SD title I have with BLU 85+ and am waiting on new announcements and new releases...and I am not a patient man.

Just remember, he posted that before your explanation. People get a little cranky here when new members join and post something seemingly negative towards our preferred format without links/proof etc.
