Ok, so i decided to keep the player and sell off the majority of my hddvd's. The only ones i kept were Hot Fuzz Shaun of the Dead and Transformers. Until i hear that universal and paramount are going neutral or switching completely, im not going to part with my 3 favorite hddvd movies.

I want your opinions on why i should or shouldnt sell. Please help me decide!
Don't sell them. You should keep them. You should HAVE to keep them. You should HAVE to LOOK at them EVERY DAY as a reminder of the decision you made and the money you wasted AND how you were one of those responsible in prolonging the format war.

You made an investment, pretty much your call. I would keep them until at least the blu version comes out, or when paramount and universal announce they are releasing blu, which could be another 12 mos or so.
For arguements sake, it will be that long as everything so far is a rumor, and the studios are denying dropping hddvd.

I would keep what you have. It still will work and look great. Whenever the films you have come out on Blu-ray they won't look any different considering they will most likely just port over existing HD DVD films onto Blu-ray.
