How were Universal HD's???

I know a lot of the Paramount Blu Rays I have aren't amazing.

MI III is good but not amazing.

Tombraider and The Italian Job are just PAINFUL to watch.

So what were the Universal Movies like???

I am particularly interested in the not so hi def types like Lost In Translation.

I am also interested in hearing about Fast and Furious.

Somebody hit me up.

Thanks.
I have watched some Universal HD DUD's at a friend's house (he also has a PS3, otherwise he wouldn't be a friend of mine ) ). I watched Bourne, King Kong, Van Helsing and Hot Fuzz. (I am sorry I haven't watched any of the titles you are interested in.)Generally, I found the PQ very good and the AQ good as well (given the limitations of the DUD format).
With more disk capacity, no combo disk format and the fact that some of the movies will have to be re-encoded anyway (and thus, another chance to correct flaws of the DUD version will be given), I am sure that they will be top level releases in blu.
Universal made by far the best HD-DVDs out there compared to Paramount that many of their releases (including Transformers) in the DUD format as well as most in Blu were not good. Paramount is cheap , Universal is not !

I found American Gangster a little slow. I don't think I could watch it too many times without falling asleep. That said I will pass on that title.Hulk 1 or 2 count me in on both.

Edge Enhancement all over the place. Most of their catalog titles did not look good at all because they reused old HD masters from the dvd era. They did have some nice looking new titles like Hot Fuzz and some others. I would look at reviews first of Universal's BDs before buying them sight unseen. The best thing about Universal is that they like to pump out the releases fast and furious.
