If memory serves me (it may not), the first movie I ever saw in a theatre was in 1964...The Three Stooges Meet Hercules! I was 9 years old.

glad i am not one of the OLDER ones here

i saw star wars in 1977 and i was eight yrs old

i saw it 6 times over about a months time

i remember seeing alien with my dad (rated R) and he took me anyways, boy was i scared

saw alot of movies with my dad that i probably should not have seen at that age

but i guess i turned out ok

did anyone see a movie called saschatch in the late 70's early 80's? it was a movie about bigfoot and these i think loggers out in the forest and they were terrorized by them, boy that scared the crap out of me as well

i cant seem to find that movie anywhere?

anyways i am 39 now so not too old, but not that young anymore

I saw Ben Hur with Charlton Heston on the first day run.

And I also remember when "HiFi" became "stereo".

Oh yeah! Saturdays, I would see a double-bill of horror films for... eep! ... 35 cents. Popcorn was 15 cents. The projectors were turned on at Noon and were turned off after the last show of the evening. None of this clearing of theaters crap. You could walk in any time you wanted, stay as long as you liked. Movies were hyped by saying that "No one will be seated in the last 15 minutes" and "You must see this from the beginning." Before that, we came and went at our leisure. It was not unusual for people to come halfway through and leave when they got back to their starting point in the next showing. If the movie was good, we would sit through it till the end.

I remember going to a lot of movies with my dad. Phantasm was a good one, along with tons of cheesy sci-fi/horror. Anyone seen Laserblast, or The End Of The World with Christopher Lee?

I wasn't alive when Halloween was initially released in '78, but I did get to see it in theaters on Halloween when they re-released it for like 2 days in theaters a few years ago! great experience, especially since the theater was filled with huge fans of the film.

I was in a alcohol blackout most of the 80s and 90s! On the up side I havent touched it in almost 5 years!
