Unfortunately the BD35K is getting hard to come by, but yeah that's a really good player. [Maybe your local Costco still has one (with current $50 off coupon pretty good price).]

I own and can definitely recommend the Sony 350 and it sounds like it would be a great player for your needs.

Me too and I hope it has that stunningly attractive price sticker on the front that is nearly impossible to remove - or it leaves a sticky residue when peeled of.

I can't wait to see it in HD on my Bravia!

Personally I usually love slipcovers (Dark Knight)... but this one seems pretty pointless and boring. It's the same graphics as the case! The Dark Knight's slip-cover was different art than the case, that's what I like to see. Shame, i don't care for this title's clipcover one bit.

If this is the same transfer as the HD DVD version you're all in for a treat. This was one of the very few HD DVD's I ever watched and it is gorgeous!

All of Canada I'm sure. They released it at my store and put it straight into the shelves. Check out Bestbuy.ca and Futureshop.ca to see if it's available in your area.

Having a few Warner HD DVD ports on blu-ray, I always said the 30 GB HD DVD offerings were pretty good picture quality wise. (But not sound.) I'd be a hipocrate to laud praises on a BD25 and spew guile over a 30Gb HD DVD.

Maybe I'll have someone buy it for my birthday next month. I don't spend money on anything with Jack Black in it.

I just ran a store inventory check and I saw just about all of the Best buys in my area have King Kong in stock! I wonder if any of them have it on the shelves. This is in Georgia.

I agree with the movie rating. Way too long (could have done without the first hour). Huge disappointment especially coming from PJ. But I am sure it will look and sound fantastic in BD.
