And this too shall pass.....the wait I mean. Look at it this way atleast you have one coming your way, think about all the people a month or so from now will suddenly wake up one fine morning and will crave and want and desire a Kuro when none are there at the stores or any where else for that matter. So congrats on your nu TV and keep us posted when you get it!

HEY FELLAS! Well the Elite Kuro came in on Saturday at 11:15am. It looks sweet, probably watched about ten minutes of blu on it. Then quickly began the break in period with the break in thumbdrive from avsforum.

So Far the Log Goes:

Saturday: 9pm-3am (Yes, went out that night lol)

Sunday: 9am-10:30pm (Yes, all day, came back home and the TV was still not heating)

Today: 6:30am-End of Day


The Break in is so simple with just simply connecting my USB Flash Drives. Pic's will be posted tonight! STAY TUNED

Quick question guys? Anything wrong with just leaving the TV on during the DAy continuously while in break in period?

No, just leave it on a static menu from a Blu ray or the weather channel

Have you noticed if there were any dead pixels on the new Kuro? It is very easy to determine if there are any defects with then break-in material. I went through 4 of them before I finally received a perfect plasma. Perhaps I was being too picky.

Nope....THERE aren't and dead pixels just didnt know if it was good for the tv, to break in by leaving it on all day or not?

You can leave it on all day to get more hours in your break-in process, or not break it in at all. It's whatever will let you sleep better at night I have not done any break-in on my Kuros. Personally I wouldn't, but were all different. The 9G is in a league of its own.
