Ok. Thanks. I saw there was an extended cut on VUDU, but not on Blu-ray. So that confused me.

I've always liked certain things about this movie but the overall finished product is just a mess. I don't hate it, I don't like it, it just kinda exists. It's due for a rewatch though, haven't seen it in years. Maybe I'll watch it before I rewatch Logan.

Me too. But then I'm not an X-Men / Wolverine purist.

I can't imagine X-Men purists like ANY of the movies, let alone this one.

Origins is solid entertainment and a good movie in its own right.

It was fun a film overall. It had brief flashes of brilliance, particularly the Sabertooth / historical flashbacks. That 3rd act twist was cool. It's the stuff in between was a bit off, but I don't feel it's a write-off as its reputation suggests. My favourite X-Men film to date has been Apocalypse, so what do I know, lol.

I actually really like this one a lot. I just recently got into the X-Men movies, and while I haven't loved them as much as the MCU (which I also only got into about a year ago), they've been worth watching.

I thought the first two were good... but Last Stand was bleh lol. I was actually so put off by that movie that I took like a month break until I decided to start watching again lol but I loved Origins: Wolverine. More than The Wolverine to be honest.

Apocalypse is the quintessential X-Men movie. It resembles the comic books it comes from in many, many ways. To me, it's the best entry so far.

Crapocalypse is the only one X-movie I dont have and don't want to change it. Origins on the other hand - watched 6-7 times and still like it.

Questions about Origins. Hopefully someone can check these scenes and also answer me. Thanks.

1- "(at around 13 mins) In the elevator, there is a close-up of Wade as he says "time to get to work" and you can see both his swords are strapped to his back. The camera changes to a slightly farther away shot and only one sword is on his back."

Could we pretend that he just removed one blade inbetween the shots?
Am I right

2- "The corn the farmers wife holds during dinner disappears and reappears between shots."

Again; I don't see the problem. She took the corn, then she left that somewhere, then she took it again.
"Time" in movies work differently.
Am I right?

3- "When Victor and Logan are both on the tower fighting Weapon XI, it is clear that the tower side changes when XI begins attacking the 2 brothers. When XI jumps over Victor and Logan, the tower side marks that its on the right side of Victor, but in the next scenes it changes to his left side. Later in the battle scene Victor turns himself to get XI by his neck."

What? I don't understand this... is it a goof? What does that mean?
Weapon 11 can teleport...

4- I remember a sequence where Victor Creed jumped from a very high roof, or was it Gambit? It seemed to me Victor, you can see that he falls, and he wears a black coat... I could be wrong, even.

Hey man, I have a life and I have fun. You seem to me sad now.
Don't be depressed or frustrated. No need to be such a massive "pr-ck" (as you Americans say). I believed that you were a fan. That's it.
Don't answer and move on.
