You better read our posts again, we were talking about the DVD release (yeah I know, not fitting for the thread though). Not the Blu-ray.

LOL going by that last quote, I guess seemless branching is even more incredible than I thought, considering how much space the original movie took up on a 50 GB.

How did I fail?

Probably wasn't going to import it anyway, finding out you have to eject the disc to continue the DVD movie just makes sure. That's one "feature" of DVD I was very glad to leave behind.

Well, the US DVD-release also has the movie spread across 2 discs, so you dissing the Scandinavian release for it, was kinda odd... you can't argue that

Amazon has shipped mine! The anticipation is killing me after reading "The Making of Avatar" while at Barnes & Noble today.

Also read your post about the packaging. As long as it's not as bad as some of the past releases (like Back to the Future and Battlestar Galactica), I'll be happy.

For the new extended release, the Blu-ray has the movie on one disc. The DVD has the movie on two discs.

What? Amazon hasn't shipped mine at all. In fact, they sent me a message today saying I won't get it on release day, but Thursday, even though I paid for release day shipping.

Might want to check your local Wal-Mart. I went this morning and they already had this out on the shelves for 34.99. I have no interested in getting this since I already have the other version, but for those who can't wait, you might want to check your Wal-Mart.
