Hello everyone! Can anyone recommend where I can get official theater posters besides eBay ? Any websites or any members selling any? I just bought a house and will be moving in December. I'm building a home theater in the basement and want to decorate it with theater posters. I definitely want a LOTR Two Towers or Return of the King poster, but besides that I'm not looking for anything specific. I'm new to posters so any help would be greatly appreciated.

The buy and sell forum here has people selling posters for sure. Kinsella5 posts in this thread all the time and he is a poster retailer, pm him for details, I've purchased from him before and you won't be disappointed. Online options are movieposter.com. They do a pretty good job with their descriptions and if they say the poster is original and not a reprint you can trust them, I've bought a number of posters from them. And of course you've got eBay, which is a bit of a gamble if you care about authentic posters, but sometimes you can get a real bargain.

For highly sought after titles you will pay a premium for original posters so you've got to decide if you want to make that investment. It really is a collectors market with lots of fakes out there so you will want to trust your vendor. If you are just looking to fill some walls and don't want to really get into collecting reprints may be more your speed. There are lots of titles where the originals are about the same price as the reprints and for those I'd get the original because the quality is so much better but depending on the title you are going to be in for a premium to buy original.

My grail came in!!! I can't believe I finally own it, a super rare original japanese b1 size Godzilla vs Biollante poster from 1989!
My most expensive movie poster yet, so happy. Totally made my day. Plus the seller not only packed it beyond well, he gave extra free chirashis too! And one from a movie I'm super pumped for, 47 ronin!








Also received a personal sketch and autograph of one of my favourite directors Guilermo Del Toro!

Disney Movie Rewards has added a Thor: The Dark World poster to their rewards section. As always, expect it to be a bit beat up due to their usual shipping methods but if you don't mind it being in less than mint condition, here's your chance to use your points for it.

For some weird reason he only has two listings now but trust me he's got tons and tons of stuff when I was originally won that poster, maybe he's doing another inventory check and re-listiing them?

Excellent service, very friendly, quick to respond and pack. The way he packs the poster is done so well I doubt its physically possibly to damage it. lol. And he even provides instructions on where to peel the tape. lol And plus I got free chirashis, that's awesome too. Shipping charges are very reasonable so overall highly , highly recommended.

Thanks. I grabbed one. I wanted this poster when I saw it. It reminds me of the IMAX one from the first film. Now I hope they put up a Captain America.

Keep an eye on Wbshop.com they sold the two LOTR poster you want for $7.99. I ended up getting most of the posters for these films from there at that price. I ended up with 2 of the Two Towers and one ROTK. They would send me the wrong posters and then you have to call to straighten it out. The nice thing is they allowed me to keep the incorrect ones they sent. At one point they sent me one they didn't even have listed on the site.

I believe those LOTR ones were single-sided and printed up for the WBshop site, I don't recall them offering double-sided originals....did they?

Site bogged down and buttons wouldnt show up for me to click. Entered all my information in and went to check out, and said sold out. not very happy right now. But, what can you do... Anyone grab one that is willing to sell?

Also, does anyone have a Blade 2 Mondo poster? I never knew there was one!

Today, but you already know that. I passed, nothing Mondo has put out in a long time have interest me. I am curious what time did they go on sale, I want to see if I somewhat have "it" when it comes to guessing time drops. LOL!
