There are 7 of them listed for sale on expressobeans.com right now but my success rates of buying off there is rather limited so ymmv.

Every one I purchased from them was double sided except the WBshop exclusives. The one with Aragorn in the crown of thorns pose and the one with Sam carrying Frodo up the mountain. Those are the two with printed borders, are glossy, single sides, on a heavy stock. BTW they have the ROTK for 7.99 now.

I would guess the ones they have now for The Hobbit at different sizes are single sided only.

To my knowledge the style of Sam carrying Frodo was never a theatrical poster but just a special one that was available through WBShop, etc. The one with Aragon holding the sword was the first teaser for ROTK, nice poster.

Be careful though of the stuff they have up there, The Hobbit "posters" aren't original theatrical ones, they offer up two sizes, neither of which are original, but to their credit they aren't adverting them as such, just as inexpensive "posters" for people to purchase, mainly for those non-collectors out there.

The ROTK final style does appear to be original and at that price you can't go wrong, which is very cheap. Could be the had printed a bunch and WB took them over from when they had purchased New Line Cinema. There were a ton of character styles for ROTK, the most popular and harder to find one is that Aragon one mentioned above. Nicest one too in my opinion.

Surprised to see zero mention of the upcoming Mondo Mystery Movie XI in Los Angeles on December 14th (tickets on sale tomorrow). A lot of speculation what it could be, many believe Lethal Weapon, while others believe Die Hard. My guess is it will be Die Hard, with it being the 25th anniversary but both films did take place around the Christmas time.

Tickets are priced at $85-$500. The $500 level gets you admission, standard print, and super-variant print, as well as a clothing item, unknown what it is, perhaps a shirt. Super-variant probably means a metal print. Who the artist is is still a mystery.

$85 level gets you in the door, plus a standard print. $200 level gets you in the door as well as the standard and a variant print.

Tickets will sell out fast, that will not surprise anyone, but $500 for a mystery screening? I have to assume it will be a fairly well known film by a fairly well known artist.

Anyone trying for tickets and attending?

I purchased two of the $200 level tickets for someone else, who in turn will be sending me my prints in the mail. Wish I could be there for the show, regardless of what film it is.

I do not live near it and do not know anyone going, so am unable to get a ticket. Otherwise I would consider it.

My most expensive movie poster yet, so happy. Totally made my day. Plus the seller not only packed it beyond well, he gave extra free chirashis too! And one from a movie I'm super pumped for, 47 ronin!

Awesome pickup! I love these Godzilla movie posters.

The new Hunger Games:Catching Fire Imax poster is incredible and i'd highly recommend checking out the art of Kris Kuksi who sculpted the piece on it.

Default Mondo's "Halloween" Jock Print

Mondo will be setting up a booth at this weekend's convention centered around the "Halloween" film franchise (http://www.35yearsofterror.com) with a number of guests attending (No Carpenter or Curtis though).

They will be offering a print by artist Jock, and I think he did a really good job capturing the scene from the first time of the Shape standing near the laundry outside. It is 18x36 in size, hand numbered limited to 350 copies, price is $45.

More info from Mondo's blog can be found here:

Is it an actual poster or just something fan-made? Anyone see it up at an IMAX theater? I know the IMAX exclusive styles can be quite hard to find as they usually are more limited in nature than a standard theatrical release. Nice artwork too.

Got my Stout Drive Metal back from my framer, figured I'd share a few pics. I went with a high gloss black frame then floated it in a glass trap.

The plan was always to put this next to my 80" LED so it would pick up the backlighting I have on it. The first 3 pics represent how it looks with nothing more than my backlit tv on. 2nd to last pic is with the lights on and last is a wide shot of how it looks in my room during movie time.

Looks great, congrats on getting it framed. I am still debating how I may frame my Stout Iron Man 2, I had Stan Lee sign it, don't know if I will ever get a chance to have anyone else sign it, but not sure where I would even put it up as I don't have much wall space free at the moment.

Since you are a big Hellboy fan don't forget about Wizard World in Portland the end of January, as they will have Ron Perelman there as one of their guest.

Thanks.

Love Stout's IM2. I haven't seen a lot of those framed.

I'm gonna try and make WW in PDX this year. Would love to see Bruce Campbell and get Perlman to sign the base of my Sideshow HB PF.

You should go, you live in the area so it probably is worth checking out. I won't probably be setting up at it, I was at Rose City Comic-Con and will have a booth at Emerald City Comic-Con in March, but don't think I will be at WW.

Your Drive metal looks fantastic, good work! Drive has got to be a top 10 movie for me.

I've got a IM2 Stout Variant framed up and like it, pictures in my gallery.

Thanks man, probably my favourite poster to date.

I just remembered I had one more movie snap frame. I haven't decided which poster to put it up with so for now I'm using my original 1987 Predator movie poster. I'm pretty happy with the outcome, gives it a more theater feel, what do you guys think?

All 3 of my Horkeys are finally framed... sorry for the colors being a little out of whack on this image.

I'll have photos of these on my wall after Thanksgiving, I'm moving to my new house next week... I'm thinking I'll put JP in the middle of the 3.
