Hi, I actually wanted to get the thor 2 poster. Lol. Didn't wanna list it before it got sold out and before I could get it. I think the thor poster looks epic and would look pretty sweet as I'm trying to keep my posters in line with the theme I have in mind, which is blue-ish, red-ish and green-ish. So I'm using the thor poster to replace the blue-ish serenity poster.
Anyways what's the deal between the international and domestic version? What are the differences and why the difference in value?

Generally the differences between an international style and the domestic style for a movie can be just simply wording. There are instances were the international style will feature different artwork than the domestic, but there are also times when the artwork is the same, but the wording is different. Everything else remaining the same (size, artwork, etc). For example the final style for "The Avengers" domestic poster and the international final style were the same poster. The only difference was at the bottom on the domestic said "May 4th" and on the international it said "In Cinemas Soon". This isn't the case for all posters though. The most recent appears to be the two advance teasers for X-Men: Days of Future Past, artwork is the same, and I think both state "2014" on them, mine just arrived and state "International One Sheet "A" and "B" on them in tiny letters in one corner so mine are the international teasers, but it really doesn't matter when it comes to difficult posters to get and Avengers and these X-Men ones are defiantly hard to come by.

Always interesting when people put "straight from the marketing department"....the marketing department doesn't ship posters to people, this guy probably got it from a theater, nothing more, nothing less. Remember to always ask a seller what the condition is and to provide an actual image when possible, what a seller may claim as "unused and mint" really could mean in "good" or "fair" condition to a collector.

I got my DMR Thor in today and put it in the frame... Looks fantastic with the lights on... I'm even more excited to get the one with Natalie Portman in the artwork! I should try and grab a picture.

Was it UV-glossy or non-glossy? I am getting a small amount along with the Captain America: Winter Solder teasers next weekend, damn hard posters to get.

Non-glossy, lighter back side. Was in pretty good shape, some small dings in the end, but that's to be expected for DMR posters. Nothing you can see in the light box, but not mint collector quality either, which is really fine by me.

Which teaser? The shield or the one with Steve on it? The shield one is fairly common on eBay from legit sellers. The second one are few and far between so far.

I got the first teaser early October. Non-glossy. Looks awesome.

The shield one, the other I still am not sure if it is a poster. Again with eBay, the majority are theater employees who sell posters, condition and packaging is where you have to be cautious when dealing with eBay sellers of posters. There are dealers on there too, some who simply get their posters from theaters, but true mint condition ones are much harder to find than used ones.

Been awhile since I've been around. School is taking its toll on me. Went to Blizzcon, got the flu in Cali. Just a lovely time!
