And I like twister. Saw it in theaters with my mom when i was younger.

Eventually, there will be a remake that comes out the same time as the original.

Maybe it could be a sequel, just with the child of Hunt/Paxton leading the new Storm Chasers?

And bring Alan Ruck back to remind the team not to fold the maps!

Is this really a long-awaited reboot? I've literally never heard nor read anyone clamoring for this film to be remade.

No one was asking for a sequel to Independence Day either, and we saw how poorly-received Resurgence was three summers ago.

I'm a Kosinski supporter, but this seems like a waste of time and talent. The og Twister still holds up today as a 90's summer classic.

The original will never be topped but I'm willing to give a remake a try. Just keep Tom Cruise the fck away from the project.

I think the reason Twister was so popular was because at the time, there was no real knowledge about tornadoes so they could spout a bunch of weather babble and it came off intelligent and cutting edge... I don't think that'd translate well today.

Bill Paxton was one of a kind and he's terrific in Twister. The whole cast was great though, it has such a fun 90's summer movie vibe.

The best part is how trivial and low the stakes are for a summer blockbuster, no world ending threat, they just want to try and predict the path of twisters!
