This bears repeating: If you want to influence the Nielsen's for that week, buy the movies at a B&M or make sure the movies ship 10/15-10/21. Pre-orders placed that week which won't ship until after the 21st won't count in that week's Nielsens!

I am getting Transformers on HDDVD but at the same time I have about 4 hd-dvd preorders between now and december and I have 34 blu-ray. So it is quite obvious sho i favor.

I think the whole point of a pledge is to decide on a specific type and support it.... Buying transformers will only give paramount justification for moving solely to HD-DVD. Gotta stick with Blu, and Blu only! Count me in for at least 3 that day. I still won't have my player by then, but I'm going to keep building my collection until that new Samsung BD-P2400 comes out!

I have a pledge to film and film only. It is this simple. I know blu-ray is the superior way to view the films I enjoy, but a few of my favorite movies are on hd-dvd so i bought both. Format is only just that a format, I am a film nut and want to have all my favorites.

Pre-orders don't count on the Nielsen totals for the week until after they ship. So pre-ordering isn't going to achieve your guys' goals...
