The Leon poster looks fantastic in person. Got mine yesterday:

Also got Suspiria yesterday. It also looks great up close:

Dario Argento is going to be at a film convention in Indianapolis at the end of March. I plan on getting the Suspiria poster autographed.

Auction is legit, saw the owner mention it on his site and then he told me he was putting it on eBay. He may have gotten two, just to resell one. Actually to ship Priority Mail to Canada costs about $20 or so. Packaging is key though, still it looks quite nice based on the photos, in person I bet it looks even better. I dont think there are any others on eBay and since the screening was last night, I bet a large number of fans of The Professional don't even know about that print.

also, they have a coupon this week:
http://mic.michaels.com/20110210Week...YFEBEM_1_20911

a lot of their frames are constantly 50% off, but there is a bonus 25% off regular or sale frame items coupon in there. They have a nice 27"x41" frame that is regular price $69.99 but with the 50% and 25% off it comes out to about $27.
Somewhere in this thread I talk about framing, scroll back and see if you can see my posting about it. If you are going to have a valuable original movie poster framed, don't let the framer "Drymount" the poster because that is a permanent process which devalues the poster. I personally recommend having the poster loose between the backing of the frame, and the glass. I also opt for acid-free backing matte board (acid-free is more coarse to the touch, whereas acidic foam board backing has a light sheen to it and smooth). I go all out and use UV-glass, some believe in UV-plexiglass as well. But I would only go to these extremes if you are framing a valuable collectible poster, if it is just a $20 poster, or a reproduction, you can get away with standard glass, etc.

Thank you! I couldn't believe it wasn't sold out yet either, especially being Argento's most popular film. I'm very excited about meeting Dario. I plan on getting my Stendhal Syndrome and Tenebre posters signed as well. I'm curious to find out how much he usually charges to sign.

Oooh Tenebre! Love that flick! Sounds like you're a big fan.

I'm not 100% sure but I think when he was here last year he charged somewhere around $25 per autograph. Some guys were actually hanging with him at the hotel bar afterward and they said Dario was blast.

If you want the ultimate Walking Dead print, the only one I know of is sold via the AMC online store. They made 100 of them, signed and numbered by the amazing Drew Struzan. I am surprised they have not sold out, perhaps not many people know of them. Drew retired from doing movie posters in 2008, I believe he came out of retirement to create this poster for the show at the request of Frank Darabont. Fairly expensive at $500, but with only 100 in existence, and each signed and numbered, its for the serious Walking Dead fan.

The direct link to view or order it is:

http://shop.amctv.com/products/87152...graphed-poster

I don't get AMC, only saw the first episode, may pick up the Blu-ray when it comes out.

I actually downloaded it on iTunes. At $18.99 it was considerably cheaper than the blu ray is street priced for here in Canada, if you can get the blu ray in the states for anywhere near $20 I'd say it is a steal if you are a Zombie fan. My wife, who really just humors me when it comes to horror movies really enjoyed the series, as did I.

ttamez, I picked up this 6-sheet AVATAR poster on eBay about a year ago, from a seller in India for only $1 (about a $90poster that had no other bids put on it), plus $23 for shipping to the US. I purchased six 24x36 black aluminum poster frames with plexy, on sale from the Staples website with pickup at their local store, that ran about $170 total... I did have to trim the outside edges off of the poster sheets to get the sheets to fit inside the frames, and also cut away a small amount of the image along the edges between the frames, so the image would line up better when butting the frames together. So, if my poster had any collector's value, it's gone for sure, lol... but it looks great hanging on the wall behind my 120" motorized screen, which perfectly hides the poster when the screen is down...

With only 94 made, this could be one of the only opportunities to get one at an affordable price so I would keep an eye out on that auction.
The auctions are starting to close on these, they aren't going cheap!

Congrats on finally getting it, sorry I couldn't help you out on it. I noticed the seller in his auction states they get their posters from a local theater for the past 12 years, in another auction they state the last 8 years. It should be legit though, when you get it, turn it over and check out the backside, it should be a lighter shade color wise than the front.

Probably eBay but make sure you are quite accurate when describing condition as "near mint/mint" to you may really mean "good" to collectors. Always take photos if you aren't sure of the condition. Specify if they are double or single-sided, etc. as well. You will get frowned upon by a few of the moderators if you mention them here, I learned the hard way about that already.

Very tempting.
One of the guys from Walking Dead will be here for the Emerald City Comic-Con in two weeks, he was also one of the leads in Boondock Saints. If you get it, you should get everyone you can to sign it from the show, it will be an obsession to get them all but over time I bet you could. Frank Darabont's signature on it would be the holy grail, I'd love to meet him (and Struzan) too. A friend got to meet them both at San Diego Comic Con last year, I was quite jealous, but he was jealous I got to meet James Cameron here in Seattle last August so it balanced out.
