I'm sure there are exceptions, but I've never heard of THE NEST, but looking it up, it doesn't look like it is very popular. If you just want one for display, I would say it is fine to drymount. |

As Greg mentioned I think you would be fine with going the dry mount route. It will flatten out for certain, it won't remove the lines from the fold, generally you need to go linen backing to remove "most" of the lines but that process is very expensive and based on the poster you mentioned not worth it. Video posters like Greg also pointed out have no real value to them, unlike original movie posters. So you should be good to go!

The BFI IMAX in London is currently selling off posters in the foyer (for some charitable cause). I didn't see prices but expect they are cheap. Some of these are MASSIVE posters with a plastic bar across top and bottom so they will hang nicely, maybe eight/nine feet high? Saw titles like "Dunkirk", "Deadpool", "Thor Ragnarok". Maybe of interest to anyone with high ceilings at home.

I have the original 5 Planet of the Apes posters, The Fury, Original "Carrie", Revenge of the Jedi, Earthquake, Midway, and Rollercoaster, Flash Gordon, Alien, Chosen Survivors, and more. All are currently either in folders or in tubes. I really should frame a few.

Figured I would finally dig through my pile of posters and get an actual list together of everything I collected during my time at the theater. A lot of these were released while I was working there, but quite a few are older releases that just happened to still be rolled up on a shelf in the projection booth, or hidden behind another poster in a frame in the halls.

Thoughts on these two posters? Originals?
https://www.ebay.com/itm/TERMINATOR-...aAwC:rk:6:pf:0 There are ones with more wear on them but the general release with rating and NSS code. This an advance one, but want to make sure I'm not going for a reprint. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Alien-Direc...-/221919956898 This auction has been up for years. |

Another curious about https://www.ebay.com/itm/UNFORGIVEN-...YAAOSwr~lYnxAy
I have read warnings about OKC and Rochester sellers, I guess as Syracuse fairly close to latter I wonder if same guy. Though I wonder if it is only the highly desirable IPs from the mid 80s and earlier one has to really worry about (Lucas, Spielberg, Kubrick, etc). |

Quick question....I recently bought a 48” x 60” subway poster of the new Halloween movie. I have no idea where I would get a frame for this as everyone I look at doesn’t go this big (something I should have probably checked into before purchasing). Does anyone have any idea of an online source or B&M store I could hit up at a reasonable cost? Thanks ahead of time......
