The only relatively cheap Steel I can seem to find for this currently, is the German.
Now our Forum db write-up states English as one of the languages but when you click on it and go to Amz.de the write-up does not state English, only German (except for subs). Might anyone know if in fact English soundtrack is on the disc?

I blind bought it as well, but I enjoyed it. My expectations were low going in and this exceeded what I thought.

Amazing 3D in this, absolutely stunning throughout. It's a fun adventure movie with great action scenes. Damon is pretty terrible though unfortunately.

My expectations were low and I still didn't care for it. It didn't help that the CGI was rather poor and Damon made little effort to use an accent of some kind.

Not only that, but the movie was cliche af! Especially considering who made it. Look at the other stories he's told.

Yeah I collect sci-fi/fantasy so I bought it blind as well, on UHD even, and found it to be a pretty but otherwise poor movie.

I did a blind buy of the 4k version for 14.99 but sounds like I should return it after reading comments on here

It’s just.... it’s sad that this is from the guy who made HERO, HOUSE OF FLYING DAGGERS and CURSE OF THE GOLDEN FLOWER and more.

Trust me, nobody wanted to like this more than me. I was anticipating it like all hell. I watched it twice in hopes that maybe I was wrong the first time. Nope.

Good to know, I wound up taking it on my lunch and returning it to Best Buy. I picked up Gemini Man instead, it was an extra 10 bucks but at least I can check out the 60fps

I didn't hate it, but it's definitely not up to par with his other work. I watched it in 3D though, so that made it a little more fun. If you don't mind dumb-fun movies, you might enjoy it.

EDIT: Just noticed you returned it! If it drops to $5, maybe pick it up.

I watched the Blu-ray version at a relative's house today because of problems playing back the UHD disc on a 1080p TV and I was surprised at how good it looked even after having seen the UHD a few months ago. Still quite a bit of detail on faces and armor. I still need to rewatch the UHD to hear the Atmos track on my setup.

Both the 3D and 4K are knockout presentations. This movie is a lot of fun with plenty of dynamic action.

Regardless of Matt Damon's daughter's review of the film, I really liked it.

It wasn't whitewashing either. Matt was cast because he was a big star and they were hoping he would draw in the audience because it was a Matt Damon film. He has a lot of good will due to the Bourne series and his name brings in money. Also this put a lot of Asians to work and I think it was partially financed by a Chinese company so you had a big star and a mostly Asian cast. Not sure how well the film did in China and Asia but they were hoping with this combination it would do great business.

That's why Scarlett Johansson was cast as a Trans person. She's a big star that will draw in an audience and also will draw in money for financing. I don't remember the name of this film she dropped out of after all the controversy, probably not being made now because there is no Trans star as big as Scarlett than can carry this film.
