Re-watched the new trailer and just realised the rock fight is in there! I don't recall it being in the leaked Palmer/Fukunaga draft, so it's nice to see that it's been restored.

I just watched this new teaser and actually think it looks worse than the original trailer. I guess we'll wait and see.

I was anticipating this movie very much, but after watching this new teaser had a drop in excitement. Not what I was expecting.

In all fairness, it's not really a proper trailer anyway. It's a sneak peek that premiered at the MTV Movie Awards. Not as exciting as the teaser trailer, but great nonetheless. They seem to have nailed the chemistry between the kids.

I wasn't a fan of this teaser. The kids seem annoying and I just can't buy how any child could be lured by a clown that looks this sinister 24/7 if that ends up being the case. I need to see Pennywise speak or see a moment where he doesn't look so evil for me to buy this remake in any way.

Eddie seems pretty annoying in the sewer scene. Hopefully he's not like that in the entire film.

Most kids are annoying in most movies but at that age the parts are written well. Plus Ritchie (kid from Stranger Things with the glasses) is supposed to be like that. His nickname is "trashmouth" in the book.

Pennywise doesn't lure them, in the book he's pretty evil and relentless. Only time he's kind of cutesy is

I disagree with most kids being annoying in most films or at least all of the ones I've seen. I didn't like Ritchie from Stranger Things which is probably part of the problem.

I'll have to see that scene. It's been so long since I've read the book so I don't remember quite how sinister he was but in the miniseries Pennywise's evil relied pretty much completely on his performance. There was a moment here and there where he had a creepy stare or facial expression but it was rare. I just hope they aren't trying to rely on a completely sinister look for Pennywise in the remake.

I agree. I really loved the tone of the first trailer. This one not so much. The kids seem obnoxious, just like the kids on Stranger Things. They're also pretty freaky looking kids. Mini Shelley Duvall from Stranger Things is in this too? Ugh!

Guess I'll be rooting Pennywise on, as he terrorizes these little brats. Oh and no, I don't hate kids, plenty of them in the family.

I will take kids over adults nine times out of ten.

The fact that they're easier to carry and fit in smaller spaces is just an added bonus.
