Just watched it and its gorgeous. Shame there's no site review to draw more attention to what a great remaster it is.

Ok. So I read a few posts back and realized the signature series is the remaster. I seen that Wall Street is going to be showing theatrically a 4k remaster and thought a new one was coming.

I've never picked up Wall Street on blu-ray.

Yeah the Signature series blu ray is definitely the one you want that features the 4K remaster. I'm pretty sure that is what is being shown theatrically.

I am sure this has been answered before but for the 2-pack that is on sale for 5.99 on Amazon which version of Wall Street is it? The original release or the remastered one?

I haven't seen it but the Signature Series was a 4K remaster (which looks incredible by the way) that was used for the theatrical rerelease I'd say it's safe to assume that's the version that's being used for any 4K stream.

Imported the Signature Series Blu-ray recently and as earlier posts have said, it is a superb remaster.

Just did the same thing. Have had the 2008 release for years and hadn't really noticed just how bad that transfer was until I went to re-watch it recently. Some of the 'signature' remasters made their way to the U.K. market (FRENCH CONNECTION, WAR OF THE WORLDS) but to no real fanfare. Now that the entire 20th Century Fox/Studios catalog is owned and controlled by Disney I think it's only logical to start buying up any of their films whilst they're still available. WALL STREET isn't even on their new Star streaming service (does that mean they're planning to release a physical disc down the line? Both HEAT and SPEED aren't streaming and we know those have upcoming 4K releases; so can we assume any films that aren't listed have other plans?).

Either way, I am glad I bought WORKING GIRL on Blu-ray when I did, even though that's streaming, but concerned for more obscure films like JUMPIN' JACK FLASH that neither made it to Disney's streaming site or get any physical release (at least for now). It's early days of course, but I still feel it's better getting them just in case.

I presume Wall Street has been a pretty good seller and given the chatter of Fox's upcoming UHD BDs (Aliens sequels, Heat, Speed) I wouldn't be shocked to hear this one come out at some point. With that said, the remastered BD (Signature) is pretty darn good/filmic and I wouldn't lose sleep if it never got released again.

I had a bad feeling this was going to happen so back in December I ordered a backup copy of the signature series on Amazon. It was only available through third parties at that time.

I think all the signature series releases are now OOP. All are tough to find and way up in prices if you can (except French Connection, still cheap on Amazon). Sucks I missed Hoffa, thankfully I got this and War of the Roses for cheap when they were in print.

I watched the Signature Series disc and I'm glad I read this thread before watching since I have both the 2008 and remastered discs and assumed they were the same discs before reading the thread. The remastered disc looks terrific. Great film.

Yes, Hoffa seems to be the hardest one to find out of the half-dozen or so signature titles that were released. I was able to hunt them all down back in 2019/2020 except for that one. After-market prices are, of course, ridiculous now.

It’s honestly a shame that Fox never produced any additional signature series entries after the initial handful. The line had so much promise! Alas, 2013 seems to be the year that their home video department largely threw the towel in regards to putting effort behind catalog releases.
