Avatar will be a Blu-ray+DVD Combo Pack. Combo Pack movies from Fox are not Eco-Cases. Eco-Cases are used for 1 Disc movies, when it's a 2-Disc or more release, it's just a regular 2 Disc Elite Case.

Those, like me, waiting on tenterhooks for the region coding announcement will be encouraged to hear that Fox's last major release (Alvin 2) was region free.

Hopefully dvdworldusa will be able to confirm the region coding pretty much as soon as its in stock.

I am happy that the studio is releasing the bare bones Avatar first rather than waiting until November for an SE version. When James Cameron does a SE Avatar it will be special and worth the wait. People no one is making you spend your money but you!!! So some of us double, triple dip - if I want it and love the movie so what!!? I saw Avatar 14 times in the theaters - adding the money up to approximately $200 - I know it's crazy but enjoyed every minute of it with my friends!!!

My main point was that Fox's most recent big release wasn't region coded, so i'm hopeful Avatar won't be either.

I rarely ever go a second time i can't fathom 14 times. I think there is only maybe 6-7 movies in my lifetime i have went to see a second time. I can wait for the Blu-ray to come so i can see it many more times without having to keep dishing out money.

Lol - that's crazy.

I think the most I have ever seen a movie is probably 5 times and that was on blu-ray. I have never seen a movie in the theaters more than once. None of them have been THAT GOOD.

Now - 14 times? No thanks. I don't even want to watch the best movie in the world that many times. Lol.

People wonder how this movie blew up the box office again and again and again like it did? This is how, people going to see it many many times. My own blu-ray of this movie will probably get abused, the number of times I'm going to see it after April 22.

If you want to be technical, it starts with Jake closing his eyes.

Anyways, it's a good ad. Whether I buy this release is still another story, but that's beside the point.

The best part of this movie to me is when Jake first activates his avatar, gets used to walking again and then runs through the camp to some fruit. Well that's the part that said "welcome to Pandora" to me, anyway.
