It does not really bother me either way. I don't think the release this month will be bad but i plan to wait and buy the November release anyway. My plan is too just rent the April release.

There is 0% chance that the quality of this blu-ray will be bad.

Maybe it was the IGN reviewer who gave Gladiator's VQ a 10/10.

this bluray will be very good because most of it is CGI and all CGI animations on bluray are top quality. but dont expect anything you havent seen

I heard somebody say it blew up their PS3, their TV, and their sound system because it was that amazing. I'm still unsure if I'm going to risk it. Maybe I'll just buy duct tape and hope it holds everything together for two and a half hours.

what no new lower 'sale' price online??, Amazon still has it for 24.99 - which in my opinion since we all now another edition is going get released - I aint paying THAT much, I'd pay no more than 18 bucks.

We're still two weeks out from release, that's why it hasn't dropped.

Once Amazon gets a whiff of the B&M store sales (I'm still thinking $19.99) they'll lower it.

Where are these from and what's the capture method? Looks kinda soft, I doubt the blu-ray would look like that. RGB range seems to be wrong too.

jpeg at these compression ratios doesn't do that. those just look like screwy caps, which might send the wrong message to some people who read too much into such things. fortunately this is a release where it's ridiculous to even entertain the possibility they would screw up.
