Better than a bunch of nerds laughing at silly things that no one else finds amusing.
Actually, I was mostly underwhelmed by the round table as well. I feel like they didn't have too much of an idea of what they should talk about. What I got from it is Brad Bird likes to drive everybody crazy when he directs, which makes him... a normal director. *shrug*

And that guy sitting across from him that was laughing his butt off while telling a story that's not very funny. They should remove the Red Bull from the vending machines.

I half-expected that guy just to stop mid-sentence and go "Oh my gosh I'm on TV! HI MOM!" and wave, while giggling.

I'm hoping the commentary is more entertaining, if I ever get around to listening to it.

My story has nothing to do with The Incredibles, but it has a lot to do with Walmart and price matching.

Basically, their online store had it cheaper than in store, so I printed the webpage off and took it in to see what they had to say.

Basically, a big, fat nada. I won't go into details, but I spent half hour trying to convince them to no avail.

I went back there the next day and lo and behold! They reduced all the copies as in accordance to their website.

Yeah, Walmart is strict about not matching their own site for whatever crazy reason. Pretty cool they dropped the price though.........nice work!

I have an old firmware on my Sony BDP-S360 (which is the later model) and it booted up just fine. Of course, I only booted up the disc once and I haven't watched the entire film. If I run into any issues over the weekend, I'll be sure to inform everyone.

I watched Jack-Jack Attack last night. Four and a half minutes was way too short! I wish they made it like eight minutes. The length of a Looney Tunes 'toon would have been perfect. I love Kari's reactions to Jack-Jack. "Hi, Mrs. Parr. I have a question about Jack-Jack..."

Default Shortages of Incredibles Blu-ray?

I went by my local BB yesterday evening after work and the Incredibles had sold out. Went to the other BB in the area and managed to snag one copy of only three available.

Either this Blu is selling very well or the stores aren't getting enough copies. 1st time I've seen that happen on the day after release. I thought they might have a front of store display, etc. but both stores just had them in the new release section. Maybe it's because it was already available on DVD and this was just a Blu-ray release but still...

Some people have said that their Best Buy had a special section where they placed a TON of copies of this movie and they only put a few in the New Release section. The Best Buy I went to was so big, that I didn't bother looking around. They had enough in the New Release section, so I just grabbed one, paid for it and left.

The Best Buy I went to (NYC - 43rd and Fifth) just put the copies with all their other bloos. It wasn't on a New Release stand or POS thingy. I will say the stands were arranged very well, though. Everything was actually in alphabetical order and not scattered randomly.

I was actually very happy that the BB I went to didn't put any price stickers on them. So, I didn't have to remove anything from the slipcover when I got home.

The Best Buy I got mine on at had about 15 copies or so on their shelves. There was no cardboard stand or special section. It was in the regular Blu-Ray section with a little card/sticker on the isle saying "New release" with the price, etc.

I got mine around 5:30pm or so and they had around 15 copies or so. I think the slipcover with my copy had a price tag on it, but I was able to peel it off carefully. Usually Best Buy's white price labels on movies/music come off quite easily I've found.

Yep, the bass is quite nice. No clue about actual frequencies it hits, but in addition to some low bass there is some nice really low frequency stuff that really hits on a few of the explosions. One part in particular is when Mr. Incredible is infiltrating Syndrome's hideout at night - when the busted up trolly rolls to a stop near the 2 guards and he throws the top part of the trolley from a distance and it comes crashing down was LOUD and DEEP! It was actually way more than I expected and I sat there with a sh*t-eating grin on my face.

I would be happy too, although since this is a Disney release, the price stickers come right off with little effort.

Ugh that means I can't watch it in surround I really need to get a surround system that has a 'bassless' feature with it, or a 'night time' thingy. My receiver can only put down 6db of bass and it's still not enough.

The Meijer in Aurora Il is NOW accepting the $22.99 offer previously posted.

Appears most of the IL Meijer's were not accepting, but IN and surrounding states were.

Total came to $9.42 after $10 MD and $5 for rewards enrollment.

Really have grown to appreciate this incredibly informational board the past few months. Saved me a lot of cash, esp with the B&N in-store coupons.

I did the same thing!! I went to my Bolingbrook Meijer today, called first thing this morning and put it on hold because they were all gone when I got there to pick it up. Got it for $9.57 with tax!
