To be fair (and also beside the point), after the shocking earnings report yesterday, Target is now a 75B company.

Which, I mean, I'm not who anyone should be listening to for investment advice, but we seem like an informed sample base for the following question: Is Target 25% worse of a company than it was two days ago..?

Target

Target has pretty much turned into a slightly high-class Wal-mart in our area. Use to be a much cleaner store, sad to say.

The soccer moms around here would have your heart on a platter if you said that to their faces.

It would depend on the items ordered. I'd assume the profit margin for every movie is more than 50% of retail. The reason I said that is because most of the item can go for 50% off and they would still make money. Some items go for even bigger discount (especially the movies that are selling for $5 during BF). If you're talking about three $50 movies that ended up costing $100 after B2G1, I think they probably could make $25. However, if an order has to be broken into several shipments, then the profit margin lowers.

I hope they do B2G1 in June. One time I spent over $2K on B2G1. Most of the items I ordered went OOS within few days. So it's a major sale event for Target and its suppliers.

Profit margin to a retail store on a BD is nowhere close to 50% even at full price with except possibly some of the exclusives. That's not the way it works.

IDK how many people say "jay" as in blue jay, but I have always pronounced it with the french S/J sound.

The last thing I need right now is a b2g1 with the Vinegar Syndrome sale happening next week, but come June I'll be ready.

Here's what will be in store next week...

The Batman (Target exclusive $26.99, regular likely $24.99/UHD likely $29.99)
Umma (BD $19.99)
Studio 666 (BD $19.99)
Teen Titans Go & DC Super Hero Girls: Mayhem in the Multiverse (BD $19.99)
No X (A24) BD in the ad but it'll probably be sold in store knowing Lionsgate's relationship with Target

I haven't found Brickseek to be terribly accurate with Target stock of movies over the last 2-3 years

After several fruitless trips a few years ago, unless it's eligible to order for ISPU I assume the brickseek stock is wrong
