If i would rate the image quality on those photographed screens it wouldn´t be pretty so i won´t. I know this disc will be kick ass beautiful!

I wonder if subtitles, audio, bitrate and such will differ much between US and European discs Minority report is a good new example that it can be some difference.

I was kind of hoping they'd move the subtitles down the screen now that the 'black bars' aren't there anymore instead of leaving them so high up.

Ah well.

I like the font on the subtitles, matches the native feel of the film and helps it stand out a bit.

Yeah I like the menu set up as well, would be nice if this is the fastest Fox blu ever, boot-up wise.

Very good, but I want to see real screencaps, no pictures of someone's screen. (although they look simply amazing, I've to admit!)

Btw, it seems that this Blu-ray has a new kind of BD+ that isn't hacked yet, so that's the reason why no BDrip has leaked out yet and that it's harder to make screenshots. (if you do it in the m2ts method)

Default surprise

I'm still really surprised this became the biggest film of all time. I thought this movie would do $150,000,000 and then burn out. I can see the mass appeal for say Titanic as its based on a true story and isn't sci-fi so generally has more appeal to the masses but this really shocked me how successful this film became. It's a good movie but it's not that good. There have been far better movies over the last 18 months than this. I'm gonna pick this up in april but aint gonna buy the 4 disc edition as not bothered about the lame features. If i see another doc with a guy from an fx house telling me how they did the fx in a scene i'm gonna shoot somebody !! you've seen one, you've seen em all !

Ah well.
I agree that it would look better if they did move them down now, but I'm guessing they didn't think it was worth the effort to do that. I'm sure you'll survive.

I have pre-ordered this on Amazon but I still haven't seen it. I noticed that the Imax theater near me will play it again at 11:30 am tomorrow so I'll probably go and finally see it. On the plus side it will only be a 5 day wait from the time I see it at the movies to the time I own the Blu-ray.
